Return to Camping - Croatan National Forest
| Fisher's Landing consists of nine primitive campsites on and around a long lawn at a bluff overlooking the Neuse River. There's a vault toilet and running water at the front of the site, and campsites have fire rings and picnic tables.
Fisher's Landing was the site of a Civil War skirmish in which Confederate troops defending New Bern quickly retreated under bombardment by Union gunboats. |
