Trail connects Crowders, S.C. parks
The new 8.5-mile Ridgeline Trail connects Crowders Mountain State Park in North Carolina with Kings Mountain State Park and the Kings Mountain National Military Park in South Carolina. From concept to completion, the trail required 35 years of work, says the Spartanburg Herald-Journal.
The trail was a part of the initial master plan for Crowders Mountain State Park. About 6.3 miles of the trail are in North Carolina.
