State Parks work through budget cuts
North Carolina's state parks are expecting the loss of some positions because of budget cuts, which will result in fewer or less frequent services but, so far, they're not cutting operating hours, according to The News & Observer. National Parks, meanwhile, are benefiting from the federal stimulus plan, the Associated Press says in the same article.
