| Silver Run Falls is a very family-friendly side-of-the-road attraction. A short, crushed-gravel trail of less than a tenth of a mile leads to the falls.

The 30-foot-tall falls has a large plunge pool, which invites swimmers.

Silver Run Falls is on N.C. 107 south of Cashiers in southeast Jackson County. (Click on the map for a larger version.)
Look for the sign on the left-hand side of the road heading south. There is a small area at the sign for parking and another small space on the other side of the road just a few car lengths farther south.
