16 RV sites with water, sewer and electricity; 10 overflow sites without hookups. 50 primitive tent sites. 26 cottages, 15 mobile homes and River Marsh Landing, with two suites and six rooms (children under 12 not allowed), are also available. Area also has a boat ramp and fishing pier on the Cape Fear River, beach access, swimming pool, recreation hall, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, beach house bar and grill, convenience store, gift shop and kennels. Camping equipment can be rented. RVs $18 per day, $126 per week. Tent camping is $10 per day, $8 November through March. Additional rates vary. (910) 458-6546. MCAS Cherry Point MWR Family Camping. (Locator Map). 15 RV sites with water, sewer and electricity. Dump station available. No bath house or showers. $15 per day, $90 per week, $360 per month. Cherry Point Marinas offer tent camping at several picnic areas: Bartlett Pond, Duck Pond, Lonetree Point and Mead's Beach (accessible only by boat). They each have bathrooms (except Mead's Beach) and other amenities. (910) 466-2762.

Eight cabins with two rooms (one double bed and one set of children's bunk beds), one cabin with three bedrooms (two double beds and one set of children's bunk beds). Cabins have electricity, refrigerator, small microwave, air conditioning and heat. Two-week limit for camping and cabin rental. RV sites: $15/$13 per day. Tent sites $5.
