Falls Lake - See Camping - State Parks
Falls Lake is a Corps of Engineers project, but the State of North Carolina operates the recreation areas that include four campgrounds.

- Bandits Roost (Map). April 1-Oct. 31. 106 sites, with and without water and electricity. One group site; up to 50 people, six vehicles. Flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, dump station, boat ramp. Reservations (at link above) required at least two days in advance. $14 for tents, $18 for RVs, $60 group site. - Fort Hamby Park (Map). April 15-October 15. 32 sites with hookups. 100-amp service, hot showers, playground, swim beach, group camp area and launch ramp. Reservations (at link above) required at least two days in advance. $16 for tents, $20 for RVs, $125 group site. (336)-973-0104.
- Warrior Creek (Map). April 15-Oct. 15. 88 sites, with and without water and electricity. Three group sites; up to 50 people, 11 vehicles. Flush and pit toilets, showers, drinking water, dump station, boat ramp.
